Achieving sustainable reductions in healthcare-associated infections (HCAIs) requires the proactive involvement of every member of staff across the healthcare setting.

The 8th Middle East Healthcare-Associated Infections Conference 2012 has been designed to develop knowledge, skills and practice in infection prevention in order to implement best practice and ensure continuous progress towards HCAI improvement.
